A cleaning company in Eindhoven charges €25–€35 per hour in 2026 and a private cleaner €17–€25 — the national bands from Trustoo's price guide, which apply here in full because no index we can verify prices this city separately. At the company rate, the 3.5–5 cleaner-hours our crews book for a three-bedroom, roughly 120 m² home put a standard visit at €88–€175.

The split between those two bands, private arrangement versus registered company, decides most of what an Eindhoven household pays. In a hurry? Our price calculator will quote your exact home in English — no callback.

What a cleaner costs in Eindhoven in 2026

The local number first, with its caveat: Eindhoven doesn't have one we can stand behind. Expatistan, the crowd-sourced index that prices cleaning help city by city, is the only source that would carry one, and the only Eindhoven reading we can verify is a decade old, built from ten user reports. We won't quote that as a 2026 price. What the index does show reliably is the neighbourhood: in each of the four biggest Dutch cities, residents report informal cleaning help at €14–€18 an hour, well under the company band.

Private cleaners run €17–€25 on the same guide. Crowd-sourced indexes report cheaper informal help; no company quotes those rates.

The platforms sit between the two bands. One-off jobs put out to tender on Werkspot come back at €16–€30 per hour, wherever the house sits. Helpling, the other big platform, lets its cleaners set their own rates but no longer publishes a public price list.

The company band can't follow the informal market down: cleaning companies pay wages under a national collective agreement, and the CAO rise of 1 January 2026 (3%, plus €0.10–€0.25 per hour depending on wage group) applies in Eindhoven exactly as it does in Amsterdam. The wage floor is national; only the informal market is local. So whatever discount Eindhoven offers lives in private arrangements, while a company invoice here looks much like one anywhere else in the country.

Eindhoven in the national picture

For the four biggest Dutch cities, Expatistan's index does publish readings we can check, and together they bracket where informal help prices in this country:

City Cleaning help, per hour (Expatistan)
Amsterdam €18
The Hague €16
Utrecht €15
Rotterdam €14

That spread is worth real money on a schedule: the €4-an-hour gap between Rotterdam and Amsterdam, over a three-hour weekly clean, comes to €624 a year (€4 × 3 hours × 52 weeks) for the same work, priced by postcode. Every row carries the same small-sample caveat, but the ordering tracks each city's cost of living — which is how an informal market should behave. Eindhoven has no verified row of its own, and this guide won't guess one; the national bands above are what a quote here actually builds on.

What the index can't see is who's booking. Brainport (ASML in neighbouring Veldhoven, the High Tech Campus, TU/e) has made Eindhoven home to a large international workforce, and much of the demand we see arrives in English, from households that can't read a Dutch rate card, let alone haggle with a private cleaner on a Dutch classifieds site. That's the gap we built our booking flow for: everything from quote to confirmation happens in English, and the full local offer is on our cleaning company Eindhoven page.

What you'll pay by booking route

Who you book determines the band:

Booking route 2026 rate Worth knowing
Private cleaner €17–€25/hr nationally (Trustoo) You find, brief, and pay them yourself — cash-friendly, paperwork-light
Platform €16–€30/hr for jobs tendered on Werkspot; Helpling publishes no price list The platform handles matching and payment; scope and quality control stay with you
Registered company €25–€35/hr (Trustoo) Insured and VAT-invoiced; on one-off cleans a team of cleaners is customary

The gap between the private and company bands is mostly law, not margin. A private cleaner in your home usually works under the Regeling dienstverlening aan huis, the national scheme for household help of fewer than four days a week, which keeps the price down but quietly makes you a household employer, under rules most people have never read. We unpack those duties in our guide to hiring a cleaner legally in the Netherlands. A company, by contrast, carries payroll, insurance, and VAT on every hour. The same three-route split holds in our Amsterdam and Utrecht guides — only the informal rate changes with the postcode.

What whole jobs cost in Eindhoven

Here is what full jobs come to when you multiply those rates out.

A standard visit. In our bookings, a three-bedroom, roughly 120 m² home takes 3.5–5 cleaner-hours; at Trustoo's €25–€35 company rate that's €88–€175 per visit (3.5 × €25 ≈ €88 at the light end, 5 × €35 = €175 at the heavy one). Smaller flats book fewer hours but rarely hit the theoretical bottom, because visit minimums exist.

A deep clean. Trustoo puts a one-off deep clean at €250–€850 — the widest band in this guide, because "deep" spans everything from a thorough spring reset to recovering a long-neglected house. Intensive one-off work also prices hourly, at €25–€40 per cleaner-hour on the same guide. At Gleaming, deep cleaning starts from €175.

An end-of-tenancy clean. No published guide gives Eindhoven a citywide figure, so we derive one from the hourly bands. An empty two-bedroom apartment typically takes us 4–6 cleaner-hours of inspection-grade work: at €25–€35 per hour that's €100–€210 (4 × €25 up to 6 × €35); tendered through Werkspot's €16–€30 one-off market, €64–€180, with the usual caveat that the low end assumes a light job and a lucky find. Our end-of-tenancy cleaning works to a landlord-inspection checklist and starts from €185; move-in/move-out cleaning starts from €165 if you're on the other side of the handover.

After renovation. In newer districts like Meerhoven and the Strijp-S factory conversions, a home's first clean is often a construction-dust job, with fine plaster dust in every seam, hinge, and vent. That's intensive one-off work at €25–€40 per cleaner-hour (Trustoo), and a different discipline from a deep clean; our after-renovation cleaning scopes it as such.

Recurring plans: where the real discount lives

The biggest saving in this guide has nothing to do with which booking route you pick. It comes from whatever schedule keeps your home from ever needing a recovery clean: nearly every company, ours included, prices weekly and biweekly visits below one-time work, because a home cleaned two weeks ago takes far less labour than one cleaned two months ago. That's the mechanism behind our recurring cleaning plans: the first visit resets the house — subscribers take 10% off it — and every visit after is priced as maintenance, not recovery.

Where your own home lands inside all these bands comes down to bathrooms, pets, clutter, and schedule — the seven levers our national cost guide takes apart one by one.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a cleaner cost per hour in Eindhoven?

No index we can verify publishes a current Eindhoven rate, so budget by the national bands: €17–€25 per hour for a private cleaner and €25–€35 for a registered company, per Trustoo's guide. One-off jobs tendered through Werkspot run €16–€30, and Helpling no longer publishes a public price list. For scale, Expatistan's crowd-sourced readings in the four biggest Dutch cities span €14–€18 an hour.

Do cleaning companies charge less in Eindhoven than in Amsterdam?

Barely. Cleaning wages sit on a national CAO floor that rose 3%, plus €0.10–€0.25 per hour depending on wage group, on 1 January 2026 — an Eindhoven company pays the same floor an Amsterdam one does, so expect the same €25–€35 band. Only the informal market prices locally: Expatistan's readings run from €14 in Rotterdam to €18 in Amsterdam, and Eindhoven has no current reading to compare.

How much does a full house clean cost in Eindhoven?

In our bookings, a standard clean of a three-bedroom, roughly 120 m² home takes 3.5–5 cleaner-hours, which works out to €88–€175 at Trustoo's €25–€35 company rate. A one-off deep clean runs €250–€850 on the same guide; at Gleaming, deep cleaning starts from €175.

Can I book a cleaning company in Eindhoven in English?

Yes. Gleaming quotes, books, and communicates in English — our calculator asks four questions and shows a price immediately, no Dutch required. Serving Brainport's international workforce, we treat English-language booking as standard.

What does an end-of-tenancy clean cost in Eindhoven?

In our experience an empty two-bedroom apartment needs roughly 4–6 cleaner-hours of inspection-grade work: €100–€210 at Trustoo's €25–€35 company rate, or €64–€180 if you tender the job at Werkspot's €16–€30 one-off range. At Gleaming, end-of-tenancy cleaning works to a landlord-inspection checklist and starts from €185; move-in/move-out cleaning starts from €165.
